Многие путают её со змеями, а у обывателей, как мы знаем, все змеи страшно ядовиты… Так что, помимо хищников, из могут обидеть ещё и люди-дураки. На самом деле, отличить веретеницу от змеи очень просто: во-первых, мордочка у неё совсем не змеиная. Глаза прикрыты подвижными, как у всех ящериц, веками. 👀 Во-вторых, её чешуи гладкие и практические одинаковы на брюшной и спинной сторонах. У змей же брюшная сторона покрыта одним рядом широких чешуй. Нет изящной шеи, как у змей, хвост тоже не сужается к концу. Колбаска. ✅🦎🐍❎ 🦎 Веретеницы менее подвижны, чем привычные нам бегающие ящерицы, так что, они вынуждены вести более скрытный образ жизни. Пик активности приходится на сумерки и тёплые ночи. Питаются они муравьями, слизнями, улитками, червями, гусеницами и прочей малоподвижной бикараснёй, которую с легкостью можно найти после дождя🐛🐌🐜 Поймана веретеница была Алёной Гришиной @_phalacrocorax_ по методу Алёны Гришиной: Подумала-захотела-нашла. Был пасмурный денёк, и эта самочка отдыхала на листве около лесной тропы. Нам даже сперва показалось, что она полудохлая. Сфотографировали и отпустили. Больше веретениц я не видела.
